Why choose Overflow Design Architects?

Barry Upton (the principal architect) has more than 40 years experience in the architectural profession, encompassing residential, commercial, industrial architecture. His projects have been numerous, and is a member of the South African Institute for Architects. Please feel free to peruse the photo album which holds pictures of past and present projects.

Why choose an Architect at all?

Not may people realize that an architect, in addition to interpreting the creative vision for your property, is also an asset in terms of the execution of your project on site.
.
Their specialist knowledge, skills and aptitude in design, among other things, will be used to ensure that your dream for the property is realized. In addition to being technical wizards, they are also trained to ensure that the local councils' standards of health and safety are met during the building process.
.
Yes, there are many building regulations, all of which the Architect will keep in mind when producing your plans.
.
Overflow Design Architects are committed to serving their clients in a professional manner.

Saving you money

There is no denying that undertaking an addition to an existing building or constructing a new building on your property will be a costly endeavour.
.
Architects make a career out of designing and overseeing the construction of buildings, thus they are best suited to ensuring that your project is completed within budget. They know, through experience, how to stretch your budget and make your rands go further.
.
Depending on the size of your project, it may well be necessary and financially beneficial to employ the services of a Quantity Surveyor in addition to the Architect, on the architect's suggestion.
.
Overflow Design Architects is more than adequately able to monitor the budget on your project independantly of, or in conjunction with a qualified Quantity Surveyor.
